The BiBi Impact Fund
Blazing it Forward
BiBi means “Queen” in Farsi.
Rooted in our founder’s
Persian-Iranian heritage
is a core belief:
every woman is a Queen!
At BiBi Blaze, we believe that true empowerment extends beyond the products we create.
Through the BiBi Impact Fund, a portion of our proceeds is dedicated to reinvesting in communities, uplifting historically marginalized voices, and supporting organizations and initiatives working to create a more just and equitable world.
Our fund prioritizes supporting businesses and organizations owned by women, Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, LGBTQ+ communities, immigrants, people with disabilities, and those serving communities that have historically faced systemic barriers to opportunity and resources.
Our areas of impact include cancer awareness, research, and patient support; women's health and wellness; educational access and equity; cannabis justice and communities disproportionately impacted by criminalization; disability justice; economic empowerment; advocacy; and initiatives advancing social justice and meaningful opportunities for underserved communities.
Inspired by our founder Parastoo's lifelong commitment to social justice, equity, and dismantling systems of oppression, the BiBi Impact Fund reflects our belief that businesses have a responsibility to be a force for positive change.
"Because when we invest in our communities, we create opportunities for everyone to rise.
That's the BiBi way!"
— Parastoo
2026 BiBi Impact Fund Recipient: MataCares
In 2026, BiBi Blaze proudly awarded a $5,000 grant through the BiBi Impact Fund to MataCares, a nonprofit organization founded by Leeann Mata, owner of Matawana Dispensary.
MataCares is dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship, career readiness, access to opportunities, and social mobility for historically marginalized communities.
As the first Black woman to open a licensed cannabis dispensary in Brooklyn, Leeann Mata has been a trailblazer, breaking barriers and paving the way for underrepresented communities to thrive both within and beyond the cannabis industry.
She has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to giving back from providing free back-to-school supplies and meals to families in need, to mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, helping them launch their own businesses, and investing in their success.
Her leadership embodies the very spirit of the BiBi Impact Fund: dismantling systemic barriers, expanding access to opportunities and resources, and investing in people and communities so that everyone has the chance to thrive.
BiBi Blaze is proud to support organizations like MataCares and celebrate Leeann's continued commitment to creating pathways to opportunity, economic empowerment, and lasting community impact.
